Kevin Lim has been selected as part of Heineiken’s Open Design Collaboration 2 co-creation team for a pop-up lounge to be showcased at London’s Design Week 2014. He was invited to attend the event’s inaugural launch in London from 18-21st September 2014. Multi-disciplinary teams from the 4 cities of Warsaw, New York, Mexico and Singapore were involved.

This book explores in detail 42 of the best recent office design schemes, featuring projects from leading architects around the world. Each project includes photographs as well as detailed drawings and plans, where appropriate, in addition to informative text describing the design concept and process. Considering the Quake: Seismic Design on the Edge explores the elegant, and oftentimes elusive intersection between the aesthetics of architectural form and the technicality of structural design, through the lens of earthquake engineering. Curated by Professor Ghyslaine McClure, P.Eng and Dr. Effie Bouras, of the McGill University Department of Civil Engineering and Applied Mechanics, this exhibition emerged from their research on the resiliency of emergency shelters and civil protection buildings, such as schools and hospitals, in earthquake zones throughout the world.
